Trolls

Troll
/trɒl,trəʊl/
noun
plural noun: trolls
an ugly creature depicted as either a giant or a dwarf.

Trolls have always been ugly, horrible, little creatures, safely concealed under rotting wooden bridges and mossy, damp caves. Unfortunately, the word has evolved into something much sinister:

Troll
/trɒl,trəʊl/
noun
plural noun: trolls
an ugly creature depicted as either a giant or a dwarf.

These modern trolls, although they may appear regular, harmless humans, are arguably more slimy and horrible than their bridge-dwelling, club-wielding, billy-goat-eating, counterparts, but they can be combated. These trolls, instead of feeding on cloven critters, get their meals from the attention of fellow internet-users. The one way to slay these pathetic beasts is to starve them of that.
When trolls come creeping into your comments section with their mangled, cheeto-covered fingernails, simply ignore them. If they persist, you may want to try the age-old anti-troll charm, passed down from Merlin himself, loosely translated into our common tongue as "the block button." By doing so, you will cast an impenetrable force field over your social media account that no troll could ever hope to worm their way into. If you wish to take extra precautions and aid the innocent, a second spell is required: "The report button." This button alerts the TEB (Troll Extermination Brigade) of the particular social media, who will rid the trolls of their power in that realm.

Furthermore, there is one more way to prevent troll attacks: Don't join them.
No trolls are born trolls. They become trolls, usually influence by troll attacks themselves, like vampires or werewolves. To become immune to the trollish symptoms, remember to be kind and constructive when posting on the internet. Don't let the trolls multiply. Don't give them the power they don't deserve.
