Question: How does lighting affect the narrative of a portrait?
Idea: I wanted to somehow represent light from a discovery.
Materials: Acrylic on masonite, sketched with pencil.
Process: For this painting, I took inspiration from adventure movies where the hero discovers some magical treasure and there's a shot of their face glowing from the gold.
